Both Territory and our partners are abiding by the new FMLA regulations and offering the full 2 weeks PTO for sick employees. This includes full time, part time, hourly, and salaried individuals. We are also checking temperatures of every person who enters our facilities, disinfecting all handles and high touch point surfaces every 30 minutes during production, and providing masks to all production team members. Anyone with a fever or showing any symptoms has been asked to notify us immediately, and take advantage of the paid sick leave. Additionally, we follow the FDA's Illness Exclusion policy, with an additional requirement for excluding individuals exhibiting upper respiratory/COVID-19 related symptoms.
We're complying with all CDC/FDA recommendations for controlling the spread of the illness. It is not a Food-borne illness, but we have expanded the scope of our illness-exclusion policy, and informed our chefs to utilize recommended cleaning products to ensure all often-contacted surfaces are cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected often.
All Chefs have received up-to-date information from the CDC and are kept in the loop of all events as information is provided from government sources. As it stands, the FDA has a well-written illness exclusion policy that all of our chef partners are adhering to.
