Cardboard Boxes: The cardboard boxes we use are made from renewable fiber. Our vendor is certified to Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) standards. As part of their commitment to SFI® standards, they support the health and growth of forests and promote sustainable forest management.
Insulated liner: Our insulated liners are made from renewable plant-based components and paper. This liner is a certified fully curbside recyclable box liner.
Meal Sleeve: Our meal sleeves are made with 100% Virgin Eucalyptus Fiber, which makes the Paperboard 100% recyclable. The Eucalyptus Fiber comes from Cartulinas-owned Eucalyptus Forest in Central and South America.
Meal container:
The base of our meal containers is made from bamboo and unbleached plant fiber, an annually renewable resource. Our lids are derived from plants grown in the USA. Both bases and lids are certified compostable in 2 to 4 months in a commercial composting facility.
Ice Packs: The gel in our ice packs are environmentally safe and non-toxic, but it should go in the trash - not down your sink. The plastic liner is recyclable.

Meal trays are made out of rigid polypropylene. They are microwave safe, but not oven safe. They are domestically produced in WI using technology that uses 30% less energy and less scrap waste. They use "post-consumer recycled content" such as bottle caps to make the trays. They are Food safe, with no PAFS or BPA additives.
Ice Packs: The gel in our ice packs are environmentally safe and non-toxic. The plastic liner is recyclable.
